185 Campus Quilt Company Giveaway **CLOSED**

Can I say IMPRESSIVE! When the Campus Quilt Company contacted me to complete a review last fall I was like okay I am sure they can create a cute little T-shirt quilt out of my husbands old firefighter shirts. No, this this is not a cute quilt it is an IMMACULATE quilt! Seriously, my when I received this quilt it the craftsmanship exceeded my expectations! I couldn't wait to show it to my husband. My husband has been working for the local fire department for 14+ years, so he has a TON of old uniform tees and other special fire event related shirts. It was nice to ship some of these off and make some room in the closet! I gave the Campus Quilt Company free liberties to do whatever they wanted to create the Twin size quilt. I figured they new way more about quilting then me, so why not let the experts work some magic. They did! The pictures above are obviously not the quilt I received, but some that are off of the Campus Quilt Company Website. I assure you that your quilt will look so much better in person and it is a gift that your loved one will cherish forever. You can send in photos, old ties or children's clothing to be used in your quilt. This is the PERFECT gift to give your sweetheart for Valentine's Day, your children for graduation or if you have a little extra money for Christmas gifts go ahead and purchase yourself a quilt! You will not regret it! Campus Quilt Company is giving one lucky blogger a $150 gift certificate towards a quilt. If you mention Campus Quilt in your own blog with a link to the Campus Quilt Company you will receive an additional $100 if you are the winner! To enter please visit the Campus Quilt Company, come back and comment on the type of quilt you would purchase if you were to win. Details people! I want details (size, backing color, type of clothing, etc). Giveaway ends at midnight on 1/11 PST!

I have been waiting for a giveaway like this! In fact, I want to learn how to do it.

I would get my husband's old mission t-shirts (from Brazil) & band t-shirts from high school & do some sort of cool quilt. He hasn't been able to part with them yet. :)

I'd love it to be queen size & some sort of hunter green in the background - his fav color.

Thanks for the chance!

I think I would do the 9 squares lap quilt so that it can be easily displayed when I'm not using it. I'd also like the black backing becuase I'd probably do my old high school tshirts and our colors were gold, black and white. It would be perfect since I don't wear those shirts anymore!

I'd get the Couch T-Shirt Quilt for my sister- she saved all her old sorority t-shirts from college that she was planning on making a quilt out of, but she has never gotten around to it (and I highly doubt that she will, since she doesn't know how to sew!) Not sure what colors, but most likely our college colors, since the sorority colors are kind of ugly. :)

I would want a 49 t-shirt squares
(SIZE: 8'9" x 8'9") and I would have a difficult time choosing between using my school shirts (being a teacher they seem to collect quickly) or my daughter's gymnastics shirts (again, can a girl have too many) or my husband's motorcycle shirts. Heck, I think I have enough of all to have matching pillow sets with them!

I'd love to have a quilt to go along with them. Most of the shirts are white & black, with a few other colors sprinkled in. I'd get the 25 square twin bedspread, with no sashing, with the loop quilting, and with a hunter green cotton backing.

Wonderful! I've been swooning over their quilts for some time now. Excited for a chance! If I were to win, I'd go for a "9 custom squares with baby clothes" I could see it with a pea green or vibrant pink color for the backing. Maybe pay a little extra for Embroidery -- We have quite a nice stash of her newborn clothes that I just couldn't part with. It'd be a great way to honor some of our first memories with her, rather than being in a box in storage.

This would be sooo cool! We have sooo many old t-shirts that we don't wear anymore, but can't bear to part with because they remind us of some event or club, etc. Especially old concert t-shirts...how cool would that be for a quilt?! I would choose the 24-square size (I think) with a flannel backing. Not sure of color...probably black or red. I would definitely want to use old concert t-shirts, and maybe a few squares of old jeans too! The Concert Quilt...yeah!! :)
