«Oldest ‹Older 1 – 200 of 495 Newer› Newest»I learned that The cheapest option is often parking your car at a central location near or at a bus or train station and taking the public transportation to the airport. Many train and bus stations offer very cheap rates for parking and then you just have to pay the fare to the airport, which should never be more than a few dollars.
Thanks for the great giveaway!!

I've learned the cheapest option is parking your car at a bus or train station and then taking a type of public transportation to the airport. The best part is learning that train and bus stations offer very cheap rates for parking!

The first thing I learned is that they don't have information for any airport within 300 miles of me! LOL! But since I have flown out of ATL before, it's nice to know that I can get safety information from this website should I ever need it.

I read the blog post about Getting Access to Airport Lounges without having a First Class ticket. "Pay-in" lounges seem a like a great idea! It would be great to travelers unexpectedly delayed, or for people wanting to make the most of their trip.
I try to stay in a nearby hotel...this makes parking the easiest and best choice..Taking the shuttle to/from the hotel.

This is a very timely contest for me...I perused airportparking.org considerably and determined that it is still too expensive for me to access an airport lounge! It was also nice to see that PDX and MSP are among the easiest mid-sized city airports to reach. We live in Oregon--but my husband's family lives in MN. Husband and kids will be flying back in October for nephew's wedding.

I learned you can pay for a yearly pass to the airport lounges.
hugsrfun@gmail.com
I love knowing that i can enter airport lounges because of Priority pass parking..here is the info i leaRNED
Priority Pass is a private company that has deals with various airport lounges around the world. Members pay a yearly fee to have access to these lounges. Membership starts at less than $100, but there are several tiers of membership, with unlimited access costing upwards of $300 per year. Priority Pass has a worldwide reach, but some airports only have one or two venues that allow PP members to enter. If your gate is not in the same concourse or terminal as the lounge, this could be an inconvenience.
I learned that parking farther away is a great way to save money on airport parking and most have shuttles to the airport for free!
stashingjen@gmail.com
It is more cost effective & the most convenient if you park off site & have a shuttle take you to the airport.
