0 mOmma us Review

I have a 13 month old that is learning to eat.  I must admit cleaning up the kitchen floor after every meal is not one of my favorite parts of parenting.  I will say different products do make a difference when it comes to mess making, child development and easiness. The mOmma developmental meal set is an Italian product that is currently being introduced to the United States.  I must admit I do love this plate.  It is a sturdier than most.  My daughter has yet to knock it off her high chair.  The plate is divided into to separate section. Not only does the separation promote taste differentation, but it helps me keep track of how much my daughter is eating each meal time.  The round plate also has a plug where you can pour hot water in to keep the meal warm.  The set also comes with a fork and spoon with a spherical base which keeps the tops of the utensils off hard surfaces and away from germs.  The utensils have a roly-poly action about them that keeps my daughter entertianed for hours.  The only down side to these utensils is that I tried to feed my daughter yogurt with the mOmma spoon and the ball wouldn't allow the spoon to reach far enough into the container to finish off the yogurt. If your child is eating off a plate the mOmma utensils are PERFECT.
My daughter also has been using the mOmma sippy cup and rocking cup.  She took to the sippy cup right from the beginning.  The poor girl hasn't figured out how to drink out of a straw, but once she does I am sure the rocking cup will be a crowd pleaser.
